Zanu-PF Politburo meeting underway we expect more people to be expelled

A Zanu PF politburo meeting is underway at the party headquarters in Harare this Wednesday.

The meeting which takes place behind closed doors is discussing various issues pertaining to the party.

Top of the agenda is a report of the National Disciplinary Committee report which will be presented by Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko.

Issues relating to some suspended members including Secretary for Youth Affairs Pupurai Togarepi is also expected to be examined among other cases.

A second report is also expected to be deliberated on from the Secretary for the Commissariat, Saviour Kasukuwere.

The politburo members will be updated on preparations for this year's ZITF which takes place in Bulawayo at end of this month.

Secretary for War Veterans in the politburo Sydney Sekeramayi will brief the politburo members on progress that has been made in preparing for the meeting with their patron President Robert Mugabe to be held at the City Sports Centre on Thursday.

The war veterans and their patron will deliberate on various issues regarding their plight and  how they can be empowered.

The Secretary for External Relations Simbarashe Mumbengegwi will report on the party's external relations where the President recently sealed deals with Japan another economic giant in the Far East.

This is in tandem with Zimbabwe's Look East Policy where Zimbabwe has also engaged China and India.
