War Veterans have rebelled against President Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF saying he should step down.
They vowed to demonstrate against Mugabe saying he does not own ZanuPF.
They are also fed up with unprecedented levels of corruption and corrupt government officials must be sacked.
They vowed to boycott the Heroes Day celebrations in August.
The liberation fighters, once seen as Mugabe's last line of defence had a meeting and said they are now being sidelined in Zanu PF yet they have a stake in revolutionary party, Bulawayo24.com heard.
'This country can only go forward if Mugabe steps aside because his management of the economy has been a disaster" war veterans national political commissar, Francis Nhando is said to have told the meeting.
"He (Mugabe should announce his retirement date.
"2018 is going to be the most difficult year to campaign for him".
The issue of allocation of residential stands to Zanu PF youth was worrying, they said.
" We cannot have a country whereby people are allocated farms and housing land at a political party rally".
