Newly appointed MDC-T vice president Nelson Chamisa has vast potential of being a dictator claims a former MDC legislator.

Chamisa and Elias Mudzuri where catapulted to the party presidium by their leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

The elevation has since divided the party.

Former MDC Bulilima legislator Norman Mpofu said he is embarrassed by Chamisa's acceptance whom he described as a ' refined lawyer".

"So when it comes to power we are all the same be it his Excellency Robert Mugabe or Hon Nelson Chamisa" wrote Mpofu on his official facebook account.

"Power corrupts all. Chamisa tells his supporters not to worry about the court challenge as he knows a precedence was set when the courts protected Mugabe when Basikiti challenged his expulsion during the gamatox era".

He added "I expected Chamisa as a refined lawyer in the party and president in waiting to defend and explain to all what the party constitution says about his anointment not to quickly defend his ill gotten position by a bad presidency.

"This is an indicator that once in power he will not see anything wrong with violation of the constitution as long as it benefits him. I am embarrassed on your behalf my beloved advocate" said Mpofu.

However, on Monday MDC-T youths challenged senior party members to come out in the open and support back Tsvangirai's divisive decision to appoint Chamisa and Mudzuri.

"We, therefore, urge comrades within the party, who have decided not to be clear and who have decided to hide under the banner of 'no comment', to immediately come clean on whether they subscribe to majority views or not," the youth said in a statement.
