A political analyst Pedzisai Ruhanya has said the ruling Zanu PF is currently bankrupt of ideas and money and tries to solve the crisis in the country through holding rallies which most of them are attended by unemployed youths.
"Governance through Rallies. Zanu PF is bankrupt of both ideas and money; it responses to every problem in both party and state by holding rallies mainly comprising of unemployed youths, its aligned informal people including forced urban vendors, peri-urban farmers and retired veterans as well as hired public sector workers," he said.
"The morning after those rallies, the economic decomposition worsens while stone age official and public sector corruption surges. If Mugabe is as brave as we are told why not have a meeting with the real war vets that openly attacked him. Divide and rule at 92 is problematic."
