The late army commander, General Solomon Mujuru is "turning in his grave" amid ZANU PF claims that he plotted to oust President Robert Mugabe.
"Mujuru must be turning in his grave now because the same people he helped come to power have turned against him' Joice Mujuru said on Monday.
"Mugabe would still be a teacher at some obscure college or school in Ghana had it not been for Mujuru,"her spokesperson, Gift Nyandoro said.
"He persuaded comrades who were fighting the liberation war to accept Mugabe against their better judgment and this is the gratitude he gets.
"Mujuru will not seek revenge, but frowns at claims that she was involved in underhand meetings with (MDC-T leader) Morgan Tsvangirai during the Government of National Unity (GNU) and this only goes to show that Zanu PF was never a genuine partner,"he said.
"Mugabe had more meetings with Tsvangirai every Monday and they are on record as having had pancakes together".
On Saturday, Mujuru made a surprise appearance at an MDC-T Gweru demonstration sparking speculation of a coalition to topple Mugabe.
However, the state controlled Herald on Monday said Mujuru was a 'concubine"who had played into MDC-T politics.
"Not only does Mai Mujuru share a platform with Tsvangirai in Gweru she is captured with an open hand, to suggest that she has become a political concubine of MDC-T," said an unnamed source.
