Chipanga welcomes elevation into Zanu-PF Politburo

Kudzai Chipanga has described his elevation by President Robert Mugabe to post of Zanu PF Secretary for Youth Affairs as a great honour to the entire ruling party youths who cherish, guard and promote the legacy created by the revolutionary party's leadership.

He said he is prepared to lead the youths from the front to ensure that they fully participate in the socio-economic and political sphere of the country in line with the ZIMASSET economic blueprint.

"My vision is to mould a patriotic youth league which will participate fully to execute the economic war to empower the black majority under the wise leadership of President Mugabe," said Chipanga.

In the face of anti-government protests, Chipanga said the Zanu PF youths will stand by President Mugabe 's empowerment drive to allocate land for agriculture, residential stands to youths and creating a conducive environment for youths to start their own businesses.

Chipanga replaced Pupurai Togarepi who was given a no confidence vote.
