Politics not an opportunity to loot but to serve the nation, says Zanu PF legislator

Zanu PF legislator Terence Mukupe has warned other politicians that politics is not an opportunity to loot but to serve the nation and the people.

The remarks comes amid escalating concerns that top government officials were draining the state of its resources and funds through corruption.

"Politics is not a lifeline and a means to an end. It's a call to serve and not an opportunity to Loot. I've gone into politics with a clear mandate to serve for two terms, go back to bible school, complete my PHD and enjoy the rest of my life with my wife and kids in a faraway place whilst going through my bucket list," he said.

"I thank God who blessed me with amazing brains that give me options and never make me beholden or desperate for any elevated position be it in business or politics."
