Zanu PF December festivities preparations gather pace

Drought hit Masvingo province has sourced 50 head of cattle for ZANU PF traditional end of year gathering.

President Robert Mugabe will congregate with his party members for the 16th Annual National People's Conference in Masvingo.

The province which ranks among the most affected due to drought set a target of $50 000.

To date, top leadership has pledged 45 beasts, acting provincial chairman Amasa Nhenjana revealed.

Other provinces are also expected to make donations to the 'bash'.

Early this year, Mugabe was accused of being insensitive for throwing his lavish 92nd birthday gig in Masvingo amid starvation.
