Ian Khama a Western puppet, says Zanu PF

Zanu PF legislator Psychology Maziwisa has branded Botswana president Ian Khama a  Western puppet after he called on the 92 year old President Robert Mugabe to step down.

Khama is quoted saying that Mugabe's continued leadership is as burden to the region.

"We're talking about a 92-year-old man and there's just so much you can do at that age to try and keep up.

"It is obvious that at his age and the state Zimbabwe is in, he's not really able to provide the leadership that could get it out of its predicament," said Khama.

"It is a big concern. It is a problem for all of us in the region — and it is a burden. There's no doubt about that."

Maziwisa today twitted  saying " Why would anyone take #Khama seriously? He's not only a 3rd grade politician-but a British-born, first-class, grade A, puppet of the West!".

That attracted sharp rebuke from his followers.
 Thomas Madhuku said,  "@Hon_Maziwisa if he had said Mugabe must die in office, you were obviously going to say the opposite so keep quite".

Mqhelisi Mkhwanazi  said ‏"@hon_maziwisa So to you great politicians are only those saying 'Long live #Mugabe!' Hai mani, grow up Cde".
