Zanu-PF Harare province in turmoil over stands

Zanu PF's Harare province is in turmoil amid factional allegations and counter-allegations of corruption involving the provincial executive members who are drawn from the two warring factions in the ruling party.
While some Zanu PF supporters believed to be aligned to Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa accused provincial chairperson Charles Tawengwa and his youth league counterpart Edson Takataka of fueling corruption by working with local councillors in distributing residential stands on factional lines, the duo believe they are being demonised because of their support for President Robert Mugabe.
