Former Zanu PF provincial chairperson Temba Mliswa has today said only a bullet from the best sniper will stop him from winning the Norton parliamentary seat.
Mliswa is running for the seat that fell vacant after the expulsion of former cabinet minister Chris Mutsvangwa.
"The only thing that will stop me is a live bullet and it has to come from a best sniper," he said.
"Zanu PF should never dare use violence as we will defend ourselves.
"Myself I can fight at least 25 people, if they come in less than that number I will defeat them" he told a press briefing.
He added "The support am getting in Norton is very shocking and overwhelming. No one would to vote for Zanu PF, a party which making you suffer".
He threatened to drag the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission to court and urged President Robert Mugabe to stop expelling Zanu PF legislators resulting in by-elections which are not budgeted for.
"ZEC has failed dismally to address my complaints so I will be soon challenging them at courts "The electorate wants free and fair elections.
"If Zec doesn't have resources for elections, Mugabe must stop expelling people from his party".
Mliswa is facing David Choga of the National Constitutional Assembly and Zanu PF candidate Ronald Chandedza whom he accused of diverting drought relief maize meant for Mhondoro to buy votes in Norton.
By-elections are to be held on October 22.
