A political commentator Rita Moyo has described the leader of the ZimPF Joice Mujuru as a trickster who is pretending to be part of the opposition political parties in the country but still has Zanu PF ideologies in her mind.
Moyo said people must be wary of Zanu PF tricksters like Mujuru.
"She says she is now part of the opposition but still has her original Zanu PF ideology. Let it be known that MDC T is 100% Zimbabwean. To say the party derives its strength from outsiders shows she is still Zanu PF 100%. That narrative was brought by Zanu PF to tarnish the image our party and leader Morgan Tsvangirai," Moyo said.
Mujuru recently told foreign media that the MDC-T derived its strength from outsiders while hers was a locally supported party.
"I know very well that the leadership of MDC-T party is infiltrated to the core. I know a number of our MPs and councilors and even national leaders who work for Zanu PF, who inform them about every move we make but our strength is the grassroots support the party has and the faith that Zimbabweans have in the party and leader," Moyo said.
"Mujuru was hounded out of Zanu PF and she was bitter about it, if she had got her way she will still be in Zanu PF or if they give her back the Vice President position she will go back, so she must stop fooling us."
Moyo said adopting a coalition that is lead by Mujuru is like merging MDC T with Zanu PF.
"What surprised me is that she started talking about coalition even before forming a political party. Let us stop treating Zanu PF rejects as heroes, that is becoming MDC T major weakness, they are going to destroy the party's original ideology and take away democratic principles, endorsing," Moyo said.
She also said endorsing Temba Mliswa's Norton By-election candidature was a big mistake that the MDC-T did.
"Endorsing Mliswa was a terrible mistake. Lets stop associated ourselves with these rejects they might end up taking over the party and destroying it," Moyo said.
