Speaker of the national Assembly Jacob Mudenda has been sued over the ejection of a legislator Trevor Saruwaka for wearing a Zimbabwe flag coloured jacket in parliament.
Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights lawyers Marufu Mandever and Kudzayi Erick Kadzere have petitioned the High Court seeking an order compelling Speaker of Parliament of Zimbabwe Hon. Jacob Mudenda from ejecting Mutasa Central constituency legislator Saruwaka from attending Parliament business while wearing a jacket bearing the country's national flag.
Saruwaka was last week banned from attending parliament wearing his jacket with national flag colours.
