'Mugabe will not leave office alive'

President Robert Mugabe will not leave office alive because of his numerous crimes which he committed, some of them claiming lives of the innocent citizens, a political commentator Petros Joseph Dube has said.
"Lately I use to think President Mugabe s prolonged stay in power is due to lack of a competent individual who has the capacity to succeed him and consolidate his legacy. I personally don't think Mugabe is on that seat voluntarily he has no choice its hot out there. The crimes he committed during early 80s are bouncing back , he is in quandary hence the only way to survive is to cling to that office," Dube said.
"He is not the only one it seems like almost all bigwigs are afraid of taking over especially those who were architects of the heinous crimes committed by the Fifth Brigade. Remember whoever occupies that office should explain what happened and how pursuing 200 dissidents could lead to the massacre of nearly 50 000 innocent people and those found guilty must be sentenced."
He said sweeping such a sensitive issue under the carpet won't work in a long run .He may survive but not everyone will survive.
