Zanu-PF Provincial Chairperson for Matabeleland North Richard Moyo has called on the party leadership to work together and peacefully to revive membership ahead of the referendum and general elections.
Speaking at a Zanu-PF Intra- District Conference in Nkayi, Moyo said divisions will destroy the party hence the need for the leadership to share ideas and best practices in implementing programmes that seek to revive membership.
He called on the leadership to speed up the formation of cells in the district and urged party members to ensure that they are registered so that new membership cards can be processed for them.
Nkayi North Member of the House of Assembly, Sithembiso Nyoni said the district leadership has agreed to work together to come up with new strategies that will bring members who defected to other parties.
The one-day meeting was supported by the Zanu PF Matabeleland North Provincial Executive and was aimed at resolving differences that had arisen between the leadership in Nkayi North and South Constituencies.
