Lupane to host Zanu-PF inter-district conference

Preparations for the Zanu-PF Provincial Inter-District Conference for Matabeleland North that begins on Friday in Lupane are at an advanced stage, amid calls on district and provincial members to turn out in their numbers at the conference.
The conference will begin on Friday with a Leaders' Workshop aimed at enhancing their leadership skills which they will use in executing party business ahead of the Referendum and elections.
Zanu-PF Acting Provincial Chairperson for Matabeleland North, Zwelitsha Masuku, said the conference will be a time for all district and provincial members to give feedback on the progress in setting up party structures, selling of member ship cards, Anti-Sanctions Campaign report as well as challenges they have faced in implementing other resolutions of the party.
Umguza District Chairperson for Zanu-PF, Richard Moyo, said as a district, they also look forward to report on the holding of primary elections, the constitution and elections, adding that his district will turn out in numbers and fully support the Conference.
Zanu-PF National Commissar is who also the Minister of Media, Information and Publicity, Webster Shamu, is expected to grace the Conference which is also expected to attract other Politburo members - Oppah Muchinguri, Absalom Sikhosana and Joshua Malinga among others.
