The Zanu-PF Matabeleland North provincial executive committee has passed a vote of no confidence in the Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda, the Minister of Small to Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development Sithembiso Nyoni, central committee member-elect Fati Mpofu and Tsvata Mguni.
Announcing the development, Matabeleland North secretary for administration Clifford Mguni said the vote of no confidence is with immediate effect.
He said the four have been fanning factionalism and engaging in acts of misconduct.
Meanwhile, the Zanu-PF Harare province women's league executive has reaffirmed its vote of no confidence in ousted vice chairperson Miriam Chikukwa who was reinstated by the Politburo.
Chikukwa's ouster has to do with allegations of fanning factionalism.
Members of the province's women's league executive passed the vote of no confidence in Chikukwa on Friday for her role in the President's assassination attempt.
Chikukwa had been appointed acting chairperson after a vote of no confidence was passed on Angeline Matambanadzo earlier this month.
The axe also fell on political commissar Susan Chuma, committee member Constance Dembeko, national executive members Albertina Bwititi and Eva Chaneta.
Chikukwa is on record denying the allegations but the province's women's league is not convinced.
Hungwe is the acting Zanu-PF Harare province women's league chairperson.
