Zanu-PF Central Committee anomaly investigated

Zanu-PF National Political Commissar Saviour Kasukuwere has ordered an investigation into the circumstances in which the provincial representatives to the ruling party's central committee ahead of the last year's congress was allegedly altered.

Senator Alma Mkwebu's name was reportedly scrapped from the list of central committee members from Gwanda replaced with that of the ruling party's Matebeleland South provincial administrator, Rennie Kibi.

Kasukuwere made the decision when he addressed the Zanu-PF Matebeleland South provincial co-ordinating committee on Friday after Mkwebu reported the matter to him querying the reasons for her name being dropped.
