No value addition from Sikhala

I was surprised when the beleaguered MDC-T said that the coming in of Job Sikhala to their party would strengthen the same. Indeed Professor Jonathan Moyo's equation is spot on -weak plus weak translates to double weak. There is no value addition that can be expected from a rusty political has-been like Job Sikhala.
His speech at the recent MDC-T rally in Bulawayo is a true testimony of a man who is emerging from a political wilderness. Sikhala still believes in primordial politics of the 'Mugabe must go' rhetoric. He told those who had the patience to listen that they should not wait for 2018 to remove Mugabe from power. Sikhala must tell us how he intends to remove a legitimate president before a democratic process of election is held.
Here is a man who believes in violence. Since violence is currently the order of the day at Harvest House, it is only in that respect that Sikhala will add value to it. The man is infamous for his militancy. He will indeed strengthen his new found home in purging those with contrary views to Tsvangirai.
I strongly believe Sikhala's statement warrants an arrest and the law enforcement agents must interest themselves in this regard. Having spent nine years in the political darkness, the failed politician wants to attract limelight by being arrested. The police are, however, conscious of the fact that when you make an argument with a fool, he will drag you to his level then beat you with experience.
His statement which Tsvangirai concurs with exposes the double standard of the later. He is currently purging members of his party who want him to step down before the elective congress in 2016. He is telling them to wait for the congress. In the same vein, Sikhala and Tsvangirai must wait for 2018.
No one who will die of hunger by 2018 as the prophet of doom forecast, probably save for you Mr Sikhala himself since he was not in the inclusive government which his new colleagues took advantage of to loot.
Sikhala should explain to us if the conditions he once put on the table for him to rejoin MDC-T were met. He had advised Tsvangirai to reconcile with the Mangoma/Biti camp first for him to consider rejoining. He must also explain if what separated them in the first place has been bridged.
It is also within the public interest to know what became of the gullible people he had hoodwinked into his failed project. Now that this handful is ditched, at least it saves as a great lesson for the people not follow fools like a fly that follow a corpse into a grave.
