Free and fair elections always held in Zimbabwe

It is quite perplexing and amazing for people like Ibbo Mandaza to say that Zimbabwe is far from holding peaceful, fair and legitimate elections and that institutions have been put in place to violate the people's rights and political processes. Since independence Zimbabwe has been holding successive elections, which is one of the tenets of democracy.
Political analyst, Ibbo Mandaza said, on the sidelines of a recent Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network workshop, that there have been no fair and free elections in the country since 2000. Mandaza says that what observers regard as free and peaceful elections in Zimbabwe are the opposite; as the electorate is threatened into submission. He also alleged that power struggles in ZANU PF, ahead of congresses, were not anything new and could be traced back to 1977.
An exegesis of Mandaza's utterances shows that the man of mixed breed, the so-called muzukuru or coloured, does not appreciate the real political development of the country from the bondage of colonialism. He should realise and know that President Robert Mugabe has been the undisputed leader of the country. We know that Mandaza has been an agent of regime change and he still thinks that he can influence the removal of this democratically elected government.
The electorate must not be misled by people like Mandaza and the likeminded personalities. The electorate must seek to impose their will at the ballot box; they must vote wisely in the face of an enemy that is shrouded in multiple disguises to confuse the ordinary voter.
We have set out the case for a "YES' vote for the incumbent President will ensure that the deaths of men, women and children at the hands of Rhodesians, will not be in vain; it is clear that the ultimate sacrifice was made by these untold heroes and heroines of our liberation struggle. The key strategy that underlies the regime change agenda is 'divide and rule" This has been revealed in the motives, the means and opportunities that the western nations have employed to undermine Zimbabwe and its leadership, all in the name of retrieving and consolidating the economic, social and political power of the western nations on Zimbabwe soil.
This lesson need to be paid close attention by the voting black Zimbabweans. In order to secure the future, the people of Zimbabwe must always vote resoundingly for ZANU PF and its distinguished revolutionary leader, President Robert Mugabe. To vote otherwise is to court disaster for future generations. Zimbabwe stands at the cusp of immense economic prosperity; let us heed the clarion call from President Mugabe to preserve the legacy of empowerment that has bequeathed the blessed people of a sovereign Zimbabwe.
