Mugabe's 'Pasi neZanu-PF', Slip of a tongue so what?

When people stop believing in God they believe in anything including their unfounded fallacies exposing desperation of elephantine proportion. To dwell on President Mugabe's slip of a tongue at the congress as a 'shocker' simply tells a tale of God's wisdom having deserted some of our scribes.
The trick of sensationalism in journalism calls for a timeous and relevant context to yield high returns that can be spun to mean a lot than a layman can imagine. Given the man we have in President Mugabe it is difficult to discern what could have went terribly wrong about his purported 'gaffe'. Come on guys, spare us the dumb squib.
Fellow Zimbabweans let us focus on the essential elements in life than squeezing stones to quench our selfish thirsts. A lot of developments and words of reason were uttered at the congress. Some had over the years not been mentioned owing to political polarisation that saw abuse of power among other heinous political mal-practises.
The media should not be like a centre for the kindergarten where the little ones make mountains out of ant hills. Cheap politics has no place in the Zimbabwean matrix. Instead we should be debating matters of importance, which enhance our sovereign status and productivity.
Small minds debate void issues. Even the bible is on record of discouraging foolish and ignorant quarrels. Zanu-PF has emerged stronger from the congress which antagonist thought and prayed it gives birth to a sphincter.
Morgan Tsvangirai made gigantic 'political blunders' not 'slip of a tongue', but Zanu-PF never touted about the myopia that clouds the opposition leader.
Hate it or like, President Mugabe is charismatic. This has been unwittingly confirmed through the scrutinising of each and every word that comes from his mouth. No one really listens to a fool, but when people make effort to analyse and possibly attach false meaning to the big man's words, it reflects he is an indomitable character.
If someone is dumb or ignorant enough not to accommodate 'slip of the tongue' at least spare the journalist fraternity some little respect and try something that tolerates idiocy than somersaulting in confusion and firing in the dark.
Zimbabwe needs future oriented individuals, zealous to restore the status it enjoyed before it was derailed by enemies of independence 'mhandu dzerusununguko' be it politically or economically. The element of unconstitutionally overthrowing a sitting government is the root of under development in most parts of Africa.
Zimbabwe generally escaped most of the underhand topples and President Mugabe in particular has seen it all. This should serve as an index that there is more to human leadership behind Zimbabwe. The sooner that is embraced the more progressive we go as a nation.
