MDC are finally waking up to the economic meltdown - consequence of their failure to implement reforms

Zimbabwe's economic meltdown is taking its toll on everyone including former MDC politicians especially those who failed to keep their seats on the gravy train after the rigged July 2013 elections. MDC politicians are finally waking up to the consequences of having this Zanu PF government still in power.

"Zimbabweans should not be held hostage by the corrupt, incompetent and illegitimate Zanu PF regime that stole the July 31, 2013 harmonised elections," charged MDC-T motor-mouth Obert Gutu.

"The nation should be allowed to move forward. Robert Mugabe is now a very old man who is also extremely frail and apparently no longer in control of his deeply fractured and divided Zanu PF party.

"The MDC shall not stand by and watch as the Zanu PF gerontocracy continues to run down the country. The time for action is now! Enough is enough,"

It is very true that Mugabe and Zanu PF are "corrupt, incompetent and (they) stole the July 2013 elections". But before you get carried away in your own rhetorical nonsense Mr Gutu ask yourself why they were able to blatantly steal the elections and from whom?

The July 2013 elections were blatantly rigged because not even one democratic reform agreed in the GPA, reforms designed to stop Mugabe rigging the elections ever again, were implemented. Not even one reform!  And it was you, MDC idiots who failed to get even one reform implemented although you had all you needed and five years to do it.

MDC keeping harping on and on about Mugabe being old, gerontocracy; at 91 years, he is old. Still the fact that he was able to completely outwit the MDC over a matter everyone agreed was the very heart and soul of the GNU speaks volumes at just how breathtakingly incompetent MDC really are. A Washington based think tank, Cato, confirmed that the West has "abandoned" MDC as a lost cause. With such incompetent leaders it would be like betting on a three and half legged horse!
 
"Given the unmitigated collapse of all the instruments of governance coupled with the comatose economy, Robert Mugabe should proceed to do the honourable thing and immediately step down as the head of state to allow legitimate processes leading to the installation of a new and legitimate government," Gutu said.

It is all very well to ask Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs to "do the honourable thing and immediately step down" why did MDC not do the same after the rigged July 2013 elections after all in that contest Mugabe for all his incompetence and mental slowing down due to old age he still proved beyond that he was a lot smarter than all the MDC leaders put together.

Gutu and the other MDC leaders are forming on the mouth demanding Zanu PF to step down only because they are desperate to get back on the gravy train. They do not care about the suffering masses otherwise they would have implemented all the democratic reforms. Even if the GNU had lasted thousand years they would have failed to implement the forms because Mugabe had paid them to do nothing but, worse still, they never understood back in 2008 and still do not understand to this day what the reforms are about.

Gutu, I have told you before and will tell you again; you and your MDC friends are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent; it would be folly entrust you lot with the destiny of this great nation ever again! There will be no GNU mark 2 and thus another gravy train ride for you.
