Moyo says Zanu-PF failing to use majority?

Gorden Moyo, an MDC member, seems to be a mental patient that suffers from acute amnesia as he appears to be a black-out on the unprecedented effects of western imposed illegal sanctions on the well-being of Zimbabwe's economy. He insists that sanctions have been lifted forgetting that the effects sustained by Zimbabwe over the decade have not been lifted.

People like Moyo, and his misguided elements in the opposition parties led by Morgan Tsvangirai, lobbied for the slapping of economic sanctions without taking note of the protracted ripple effects that still bedevil this country to this day.

If all is said in ernest, how can sane citizens call for callous economic measures to be taken against their own country? Then they bicker loudly over the negative impact of their making. Their actions in the first place were an infringement on national security as sanctions destroyed the integrity of the whole nation, including disruption of the future for the young generations.  No-one can afford to forgive these sinners that plotted for the crumpling and the possible extinction of the Zimbabwean society all for the need to acquire power at the expense of humanity. In other nation states such people will be charged with treason which may lead them to be send to the hangman's noose.

If ZANU-PF is failing to use majority today, how did Gorden Moyo's party utilize the same privilege when they enjoyed majority in the same august house recently? They were mere passengers that were waiting to guzzle national coffers in insatiable desire for allowances and car loans while they remained ensconced in their seats as legislators. Now the blunderous embattled politician, Morgan Tsvangirai, made an ill timed decision to withdraw 21 MPs leaving seats which were swept by ZANU-PF. It's a gun that back-fired and they are using cheap politicking to cover-up for their political misfortunes. That is being naïve on the part of Moyo and his kith and kins in the opposition political terrain.

At the moment, ZANU-PF led government is famous for churning out the popular ZIM-ASSET economic turn-around programme which is thumbed up globally for its soundness. The west even pledged to fund it after extrapolating its sanity. Then a tiny cog like, Gorden Moyo, wants to trivialize the national effort again like they did when they called for the imposition of sanctions by their western allies. So when the Americans said, "We need to make the Zimbabwe economy  scream", Moyo and his friends smiled beyond the ear as they knew things would fall apart. That level of unpatriotic behaviour by some citizens is so amazing and disgusting.

Such mentally deranged people like Moyo are the people who continue to choke countries like the USA which continue to call Zimbabwe a security threat to its interests as announced by the US Ambassador, Bruce Wharton, this week. They peddle damaging lies which create wrong impression in our neighbours and our erstwhile enemies who are always happy to hear and wish all evil against this country. The strongest rumour of misinformation peddled by the likes of Moyo and his counterparts is that China is constructing a military base in Zimbabwe. This is bull-shit which is unfounded as the Chinese are merely investors exploiting business opportunities like any other investor that is welcome to the country.

Opposition politics should make sense rather than plotting the downfall of the nation state. If the opposition parties are sincere they should come up with alternative economic policies which rescue the nation, or support ZIM-ASSET to ensure that Zimbabwe moves forward.
