Mugabe can insult Zanu PF Central Committee all day and night but not the people

Of course Mugabe can witter all he pleases to his naïve and gullible Zanu PF Central Committee members telling the party is united when it is imploding. He can threaten and even punish some on his party members; he has always ruled that party with an iron fist, he tell his party members jump and they have always jumped.
He unconstitutionally changed the party's constitution in 2004 to stop Mnangagwa being elected VP. He contemptuously disregarded the new clause he had added in 2004 last year and again unconstitutionally changed other sections of the party's constitution to suit his selfish ambitions of remaining top dog.
What Mugabe should not do is insult the nation by talking about us as if he has ever cared about us.
"We are there to work for the people and the people will recognise us," he said. What is he wittering about!
Millions of Zimbabweans are out of work with unemployment seating at a nauseating 90% plus and thousands of the few still lucky to be employed are set to lose their jobs in the coming months. He promised the nation 2.2 new jobs in the five years 2013 to 2018 and yet two years into those five years he has failed to create even one new job, instead the nation has lost more and more jobs!
Zimbabweans now that there is a hive of activity in Marange and Chiadzwa diamond fields and yet the nation is not getting even a single dollar in revenue from this $800 billion bounty! Mugabe received a cool $2 billion from the plunder and looting in Marange in 2012 alone according to Africa Partnership Canada.
Zanu PF rigged the 2013 elections; some of the disgruntled former Zanu PF members like Didymus Mutasa has started to spill the beans, talking of how Minister Patrick Chinamasa bussed in voters. Mugabe rigged the national elections just as he rigged Zanu PF's own party elections and therefore it is nonsensical for him to talk of the people "recognising us".
Mr Mugabe it is intolerable that millions of Zimbabweans today are languishing in abject poverty denied of all hope and human dignity because of your 35 years corrupt and tyrannical rule. Please, I beg of you, do not insult us too by telling us we are rich and happy when we know we are poor and miserable and you are robbing us blind!
