ZNLWVA did not author the communique against President Mugabe

Having gone through the so called "War veterans' communiqué on the state of Zimbabwe's economy, the ZANU (PF) party leadership and the way forward for the people of Zimbabwe" one can easily conclude that the document is not a product of ZNLWVA due to many inconsistencies rampant in that document.
The communiqué claims that "war veterans from the country's ten provinces, including all district chairpersons and representatives from all economic and other sectors decided to meet and deliberate on these issues…..following the meeting it has been unanimously resolved to issue this communiqué."
Who are the "representatives from all economic and other sectors" who attended the ZNLWVA meeting held in Harare on 22 July 2016? The meeting was convened to discuss welfare issues and not to denigrate the patron, President Mugabe, who the war veterans met amicably recently. The majority of war veterans who attended the meeting are saying the meeting never discussed the disrespectful and disparaging remarks against their patron as claimed in the offending document.
The document criticised the million man march recently organised by ZANU (PF) youth in solidarity with their leader, President Mugabe. Members of the ZNLWVA actively participated in the march; so how can they now criticise an event they were part and parcel of?
The document talks about the liberation struggle having been orchestrated so that "hopes for a better life in the New Zimbabwe" could be achieved. The struggle was not to create a "New Zimbabwe" but to liberate Zimbabwe which was named Rhodesia by minority white settlers. Is it coincidental that while the MDC formations' manifestos talk about a "New Zimbabwe" the communiqué attributed to war veterans also mentions a "New Zimbabwe"?
A few minutes after the communiqué was made public, MDC-T's Obert Gutu rushed to release a press statement in support of the document ahead of everyone. Some rotten fish smell here. The MDC-T has a track record of creating and fabricating events; so one may be tempted to conclude that, that party knows the true origins of the document. Ex-combatants, who are now members of opposition political parties, like MDC-T, could have authored the offending document and took advantage of the ZNLWVA meeting to publicise the document on the day of the meeting.
The ZNLWVA leadership has since distanced itself from the communiqué which does not have the association's logo. The communiqué does not carry signatures of ZNLWVA leaders; hence it is only fair to conclude that an enemy of ZANU (PF) is trying to brew suspicion and divisions among various organs affiliated to the party. It is very unfortunate that some gullible and overzealous members of the party rushed to smear mud on some senior leaders of the party, implying that they were connected to the document, without having authenticated the origins of the document. This is exactly what the enemy of ZANU (PF) is looking for; to create suspicion, confusion and divisions within the party in order to weaken it. The party should be vigilant at all times as its enemies are not resting until they achieve total disintegrations of the revolutionary party.
Some sections of the media, who have appointed themselves mouthpieces of regime change agents, are having a field day over nothing. Their screaming sensational headlines are painting an inaccurate picture of ZANU (PF) and President Mugabe as facing unprecedented revolt from even within the party's ranks. Such irresponsible headlines are the ones which may actually create anarchy in the country.
President Mugabe is constitutionally mandated to lead this country and no amount of vilification and fabrication of events will change that fact. He was voted into office by the majority of Zimbabweans; hence attempts to subvert the will of the people through all nefarious and malicious shenanigans will not succeed. ZANU (PF) should therefore not allow itself to be diverted from concentrating on service delivery to the nation by its detractors whose motive is to create doom for beautiful Zimbabwe.
