Voters in Norton should not be deceived by Mliswa

"I will not go back to politics, never again. I'm done, I'm so done. I say so honestly and I never go back on what I say. I'm out of politics, totally" Themba Mliswa told Bulawayo Press Club in November of 2015. In 2016, political chameleon, Themba Mliswa is one of the three individuals vying for the Norton parliamentary seat, apparently going back on his sworn word that he will never hold public office again.
This is the kind of a clown the people of the Norton constituency are dealing with, a man who makes oaths and breaks them willy nilly. How are the people ever going to trust his electoral promises with this track record of untrustworthiness?
The fact that he has filled his papers at the Nomination Court successfully demonstrate the democracy our systems still uphold. But, caution for voters in Norton, vote this man at your own peril. He has demonstrated time and again that he is immature politically and ZANU PF did well to get rid of him.
His constituency hopping from Hurungwe East where he was trounced by Keith Guzha just show that to him this is just a political game of trying to prove a point to his supposed political enemies and boost his ego. Politics is not about settling scores, it's about the people and I wonder if Mliswa has spared the voters in this constituency any thought.
Hence, voters in Norton should not succumb to this man ego boosting campaign as their wellbeing should be upmost in the candidate who will eventually become their representative in the august House.
Mliswa's campaign is further compromised by the renegade war veterans who are also on a mission to prove a point to their former party ZANU PF. That the people of Norton have been exposed to such selfish individuals who only have personal scores to settle is just plain sad.
People would rather vote for people who are conversant with their challenges than a fly-by night politician who is a novice and has a lot of unresolved political resentment because he was beaten fair and square in his former constituency. People of Norton should refuse being used as an experimental project by Mliswa and his renegade war veterans to gauge if their still have support.
Mliswa has nothing to offer the constituency but suffering from a battered ego.
