Tsvangirai an icon of democracy but divisions in MDC will hand over victory to Zanu-PF - Mliswa

Norton MP Temba Mliswa has acknowledged that MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai is an icon of democracy in Zimbabwe but warned that the divisions in his party will lead to them handing election victory to Zanu-PF.
Indications are that there are divisions in the MDC Alliance as to whether for Tsvangirai to remain their sole candidate while others say his health makes him not fit to stand for presidency.
Tsvangirai is battling cancer of the colon.
"At a time when MDC must consolidate its membership, factionalism is at its worst. No matter how incompetent people may feel MT is he's respected for his democracy. But bhora musango is so rife that there will be a split. Some will stay with MT but final nail will be the loss to Zanu-PF," Mliswa said.
