MDC-T national organiser Abednico Bhebhe has expressed fears that his party is now adopting the Zanu-PF style of violence thereby abandoning the peaceful and democratic processes.
Bhebhe said the formation of MDC in 1999 was due to escalating concerns that Zanu-PF engaged in violence and intimidation.
"The people of Zimbabwe should have tolerance, we should accept each other because (former president Robert) Mugabe was removed and he is gone," he said.
He said in 1999 MDC party was formed and in this party, the biggest complaint that they had against Zanu-Pf was violence.
He said the biggest complaint was intimidation and now my biggest question is what do you call what is happening in MDC?
"There is violence in the MDC-T party, a fight over presidency," he said
He also encouraged the people to go and vote for their legislators most than being much concerned about the President.
"People have been made to believe that if you vote, the president comes in mind first. As it is, now what is confusing people is the president because you have had Mugabe and never got fulfilled, now it's (Emmerson) Mnangagwa, he is troubling you and you must take a look at MDC-T, its violence and confusion becomes too much," Bhebhe said.
Bhebhe said now the real reason why people should vote, is the representation that will make the president who will be voted to respect the people, to know that there are 1958 councillors in this country.
"Of which if the people get to know that, participating in a vote does not start with the president, it starts with a councillor then the problem is solved," he said.
"The president after voting for him if you are lucky or you are his relative that is when you can get an appointment to see him, but you the voter, you will never get a chance to see that person individually."
Bheb he said people should desist from thinking that voting is important for the top leadership.
"If you are talking of local authority, the local authority is providing the necessary things that you need in your environment but you don't see value in them, you think president is more important," he said.
