8:35pm, 10 Jun - +263 77 *** ****: Hie, I read an article that was saying "35 yrs to drive a kombi or public transport", I dont think its a way of reducing accidents but rather a way of creating poverty. How can 1 be allowed to drive a public transport @ 35, then whats the reason for allowing people to obtain a class two drivers licence @ 18yrs, and be expeted to wait for another 17 yrs to drive a public transport, I dnt think it wil work. Most of the people do not have certificates, diplomas and degrees, so they rely on driving as a way of survival bt out of the blue, the minister who is supposed to be doing something th@ will benefit the gvt and the public, is the 1 who is imposing very strict laws like these. As u can see some of our country men are suffering in the neighbouring countris like Bots and SA. Hw can our own country also allow such an act to be passed and become an effective law. I think this is the time for the gvt to do something and take a close look @ this issue. Or else they juss say the minimum age for a drivers licence is 35. How can u get an experience for driving a truck/bus @ 35??, uhlala udriver ama automatic ase Japan. This age restriction won't solve anything, dankie ngiyabonga
