Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo could be headed for a showdown with President Robert Mugabe over his string of court battles.
Moyo, accused of defrauding Zimdef is dragging Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Information Minister Chris Mushohwe, Zimpapers and several other people to court.
However, his stunt angered Mugabe who this week ordered him to drop his lawsuits and settle the matter within Zanu PF structures.
But Moyo is having non of it.
Using his now prefered channel Twitter to communicate his plans he wrote "I'm happy to say my lawyers have just advised that the mega lawsuit on capture of State institutions and defamation is about to be filed.
"The Constitution's section 61(5)(c) says: Freedom of expression and freedom of the media exclude malicious injury to a person's reputation or dignity".
He did not stop there, he dragged his rival Mnangagwa along :
"A politburo insider feeding lies to the media? No, no. Maybe it's someone inside a dirty river somewhere that's infested with crocodiles".
Mugabe has on several occasions spoke against Zanu PF members using social media to fight their battles.
Moyo is accused of defrauding ZIMDEF - a department in his ministry of close to $400 000.
Charges levelled against the Zanu PF politburo member include claims that he used ZIMDEF funds to acquire motorbikes and bicycles for the traditional leaders in his constituency.
