An MDC-T supporter Esau M'Zambia Milanzi has claimed that his party was tricked into backing a Zanu PF Clown Temba Mliswa who fielded himself as an independent candidate yet he still belongs to the ruling party.
He said to those brothers and sisters who are asking him whether they were sold a dummy in the Norton parliamentary election debacle across the Mighty Zambezi River, the answer is "YES, MDC-T was."
"If you are one of those persons whose mind is not conditioned to go deeper than the surface and "NO, of course not" if you understand that sometimes it takes little sacrifices here and there to prove a point and drive it home," he said.
"The Goat Herder will explain himself: you see, the "lad" we backed during that election was, as at that time, ex-ZanuPf. We have always held this belief that the tag "ex" did not apply to him and that we are yet to find one single person who is alleged to be "ex-ZanuPf" who is truly ex-ZanuPf. Given what the "lad" is saying, our hypothesis is correct, anybody from ZanuPf can either be let loose to feign a well-choreographed "separation" to hoodwink the electorate with a view to hoodwink some of the gullible electorate across the Mighty River."
"You must also remember that we were under severe "public opinion" to join forces with persons who are said to be "opposition" including those carrying the "ex" tag I have just spoken about. So now, when we say MDCT is not as daft as most shortsighted individuals think we mean it."
He said they 24/7 had all those mosquitoes dropping sorties on them for nothing....
"We strategise, we expose, we carry out "test cases" and we move on. A better Zimbabwe is close at hand and it can only be through an MDCT- driven government that espouses equal rights and dignity for all," he said.
The remarks came after Mliswa blasted MDC-T leader and his party over their suspicion that he was still Zanu PF after photos of him with Zanu PF national Commissar Saviour Kasukuwere went viral on social media sparking suspicions that he was working with the ruling party.
