Kaindu wary of Bantu threat

Highlanders coach Kevin Kaindu is wary of their opponents in this weekend's Bulawayo derby, Bantu Rovers, who he believes are a potential banana skin that could seriously dent their title push.
The clash is the second between the two sides inside 14 days, with Bosso having emerged 4-2 winners in a pulsating game at Barbourfields Stadium on July 13.
That victory meant Kaindu's men ended the first half of the season three points clear of the chasing trio of ZPC Kariba, CAPS United and defending champions Dynamos.
Now the cross-town rivals face off in the return fixture which Kaindu believes will be another tough test for his side.
"It is a derby and everyone knows how they are. The last result is now history and we are working hard on our game and hope we will collect maximum points," he said.
After losing star players Milton Ncube, Peter 'Rio' Moyo and Kuda Mahachi, Highlanders have been working towards bringing in reinforcements with Tapiwa Dephistara, who played for Chiredzi FC in the first part of the season, their latest recruit.
However, Kaindu was quick to emphasise the exciting player would have to earn his place in the team.
"I cannot say he will or will not play for now because we have to consider a lot of factors as the technical staff before we select a player for a starting berth," he said.
Meanwhile, Bantu Rovers will be without star striker Obadiah Tarumbwa, who is serving a one game suspension after picking up three bookings.
Methembe Ndlovu's charges are second from bottom on the log table with 14 points from 15 games and are winless in three games following their defeat by Bosso two weeks ago.
