A HARARE woman has appeared at Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against her husband and stepson.
Eunice Nyamazana stood before magistrate Noah Gwatidzo accusing her husband Samson Nyamazana and Fadzai Nyamazana her stepson for breaching her peace.
The court also heard that Samson and Fadzai are in a habit of threatening her with violence.
"Your worship Samson always assaults and insults me.
"He use obscenities to address me.
"I am a police officer and people always come to me seeking advice.
"I was surprised last week when he gave me a divorce token but we are legally married.
"His son brings different girlfriends at my apartment.
"I don't want to be chased away from our matrimonial residence in Epworth.
"I am pleading with this court to be granted a peace order because I don't want to be harassed by these two," she told the court.
In response, the two disputed the allegations. Samson also told the court that Eunice was not entitled to the house.
"I acquired the stand on my own.
"I don't want to see Eunice at my place of residence because she always fabricates stories.
"Last time she told our maid to lie that my son raped her.
"I am in a process of filing divorce papers.
"I don't still have anything to do with her," said Samson.
Presiding magistrate Noah Gwatidzo granted the peace order in favour of Eunice. Eunice was also ordered not to take advantage of the two respondents.
