Chiwenga coup funder appointed Minister

The new Zimbabwean Minister of ICT Jenfran Muswere has been rewarded for his role in supporting President Emmerson Mnangagwa to flee the country during the November 2017 coup that toppled President Robert Mugabe.

A Hagiography by Douglas Rogers called Two Weeks in November has revealed how Muswere was very instrumental during the coup.

During the march that that was held in Harare Muswere donated free fuel to the assist in the ferrying of the marchers from all over the country to the CBD in Harare.

The book also reveals that Muswere actively assisted Mnangagwa to flee the country earlier before the march.

He is a friend of Emmerson junior and kept Mnangagwa and Junior briefed on developments in the country when they were at a safe house provided by Justice Maphosa in Pretoria.
