Violence rocks University of Zimbabwe

The ZANU PF Secretary for Administration Tendai Chirau has claimed that some MDC members caused violence during an SRC election that took place on Tuesday.
Writing on social media Chirau alleged that the members were led by one pride Mkono and Makomborero Haruziviishe.

The MDC A' s terror militant wing, Vanguard, led by Pride Mkono and Makomborero Haruziviishe who are not students; unleashed violence at students who were patiently waiting for election results. The incident happened around 20:00 hrs at the Union building, resulting in the injuries of 7 ZICOSU students. Meanwhile, the police have intervened and calmed the situation.
