Former MDC-T Vice President Obert Gutu has thrown a jibe at MDC President Nelson Chamisa over the Supreme Court judgment handed down on Tuesday which ordered that Thokozani Khupe is the rightful heir to the MDC-T throne.

Gutu, who resigned from the position a few months ago, said, "They're running scared! They're angry and disillusioned! From day one, some of us told them to strictly follow the party constitution & STOP behaving like drunken warlords! They're very long on populism but extremely short on strategy. They're heading NOWHERE very, very fast!"

Gutu added that MDC members must not be misled by their leaders that the order will not have any consequence on the configuration of the MDC.

"Kuchava nekugeda geda kwemeno... Musanyeberwa... Supreme Court judgment has got far-reaching and ground-breaking legal and political ramifications. That's the very reason why some people are running scared! They can run for now, but most certainly they won't escape! Watch the space."

Turning to Professor Jonathan Moyo, Gutu indirectly said he is an adult entry lawyer who is crying more than the bereaved.

"There's ONE thing I like & enjoy about the practice of law. Law is logical. Law is commonsensical. Even adult entry lawyers should be able to appreciate that law is logical more importantly, that denigrating the judiciary is a serious act of professional misconduct.

"When certain characters start to cry more than the bereaved, you should get worried. Why are they crying more than the bereaved? What's their motivation? Whose interests are they trying to protect? Are they really genuine?"
