BULAWAYO-BASED up-and-coming gospel-rap artiste Sipho Ndlovu (21), popularly known as Hood Legend (Gunz) in music circles, has released a new track titled Revelation.

He said his music had been well received by fans and local radio stations.

The musician has recorded 21 songs.

Ndlovu told NewsDay Life & Style that his music was about real life experiences and addressed problems faced in society.

"My new release basically speaks about the end of time and some of the songs that I have produced are about life situations,"he said.

"My motivation for music is drawn from my struggles, obstacles that I face as an individual and the only proper way to deal with all that was through music."

The musician said his songs such as Mvelingqangi, I Tried and Bafana Bekasi received continuous airplay on Power FM and Khulumani FM.

"My music has made an impact and people are reacting positively especially on the story-telling side," he said.

Ndlovu said he had worked with various music producers such as Hp Manyenga from Onetime Records and Aggrey of Aggrey Watts Entertainment.

"I have also worked with King Drigga from MatLand Records and shared the stage with various artistes that include EL Siege, 9 Miles and Hp Manyenga which was a learning experience,"he said.

The artiste said his music was readily available on online platforms such as Reverbnation, Audiomack, YouTube and Soundcloud. He is currently pursuing a degree in human resources management at Midlands State University.
