Mnangagwa's government has dismally failed

23 Jun 2020 at 12:41hrs | Views
Zimbabwe will rise. This regime's days on earth are numbered. For the past 40 years the regime has proved that its a definition of failure.

The young and progressive people shall take over and will never let Zimbabwe just die like that through corruption.

The country is facing a plethora of problems which need a united front to solve. Technically Zanu PF has failed or  it is too weak to solve such insurmountable challenges facing the country.

Recently we have seen the government using the security forces to dabble in the ertenal affairs of the opposition with the sole aim of weakening and completely decimating the MDC -Alliance.

Zanu PF knows that they cannot stand and win an election against a very strong opposition. Zanu PF wants those who are amenable to manipulation hence their targeting of Thokozani Khupe, Elias Mudzuri and Douglas Mwonzora.

It has been noted that all these tactics are paving a way for President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is seeking to consolidate power through constitutional amendments.

The courts have been used to solve the challenges facing the opposition but in reality the most and real consequential court politically is the court of public opinion.

Those who are getting support from the courts are going to get a rude awakening from the army of voters across the country.

The Zanu PF government is concentrating on chasing the mouse when the house is burning. Most of the ruling party's energy is spent on intimidating, harrassing, arresting young ladies and ignoring the elephant in the room.

The country's economy is rapidly falling, on a life supporting machine and is in the intensive care unit.

The Zimbabwean dollar is tumbling and plummeting. There is no mealie meal. People are always queuing for the golden product whilst the $3 billion went missing under the disguise of Command Agriculture.

We always blame sanctions on our own failures. Money was looted at Marange Diamonds.

Zimbabwe is the world's second largest producer of chrome and platinum reserves, the world's fifth largest producer of lithium. The country has the world's largest diamond field.

Africa's largest tobacco producer and exporter but its people wallow in poverty.

The system of leadership must be corrected and cannot afford to be recycled. It is breeding corrupt leadership and needs to be retired forever.

The Zanu PF oil feed grooves are finished and leaking. President Emmerson Mnangagwa's claims that the deepening economic morass is the work of his political detractors and greedy business people are just a cover up.

The country is seized with high level of corruption and the President has lost control by failing to take action on the perpetrators. Policy inconsistency, missteps,  hit and run economic models have grounded the country down.

The situation is likely to worsen in the next few months. By the time we reach October, the wheels of the economy would have been grounded and President Emmerson Mnangagwa would need a miracle to resuscitate it.

The people's future especially that of the young generation has been stolen however the youths must start riding the freedom train. The struggle continues.
