Editor Sir

I am saddened and heartbroken to learn about the passing on of one of the eleven vendors, Hilton Tamangani,  at the Harare remand prison this Saturday 19th October 2019. These vendors have been remanded in custody since last week when they were arrested and have been subjected to torture and negligence in the hands of police which then lead to the death of Hilton, may his dear soul rest in peace. What does the government expect youths to do in a country with no jobs . Vending is the self employment route to go so as to earn an honest living. For that government arrests them and torture them , leading to loss of life.

It is so disturbing to think of lives lost since Mnangagwa came into power and this is not at all moving them. The right to live, health and education and freedom to expression have long been wiped off completely by this military government.

I wonder what this brutal government is gaining from killing it's citizens. One day is one day . Mnangagwa is ruling with an iron fist and suppressing any voice trying to make sense to the economy which is beyond repair. Cry beloved Zimbabwe!!!

Kind Regards
