From tasty buffets, 24-hour casinos, world-class entertainment to endless rows of clubs, you can bet that Las Vegas has it all. The Strip is famous all over for late-night parties that last through the break of dawn. However, not many people know that there are also day clubs for party-goers who like to make the most of their Vegas vacation.

These day clubs are also known for Las Vegas pool parties, and some of them are quite exclusive. Nevertheless, you can always find an event to attend, along with your friends, as you get wet and wild under the Vegas sun.

In 2018, there were more than 42 million tourists in Las Vegas. It remains one of the most popular destinations in the United States.

Tips for First-Timers

If this is your first time you are attending a day club, here are some tips to make your first pool party an experience to remember:

1. Get some breakfast - It is, after all, the most important meal of the day. The Las Vegas pool parties typically start around 10 a.m., so you have plenty of time to fuel your body with food. While most day clubs offer food, you will likely spend all your money on alcohol.

2. Do not forget your liquids - You will run the risk of dehydration if you party all day in the sun in combination with unlimited alcohol. Drink water before, during, and after the pool party.

3. Do not bring weed - Recreational marijuana has been legal in Las Vegas since 2017. However, the law only allows consumption at a private residence. While bringing in weed will not likely get you arrested, you will get turned away from the Las Vegas pool parties.

4. Do not bring alcohol - Just like marijuana, you will not be allowed to bring in liquor. You need to buy alcohol on the premises. Each attendee will be frisked upon entrance to prevent them from bringing in contraband.

5. Keep those tops on - With alcohol, your inhibition may go out the window. You might be enticed to take off your bikini top, but this is not allowed in most day clubs. That is because they hold in hotels, and there may be kids and minors around. However, if that is your thing, you can always go to topless pool parties, also called "toptional pools," where only adults are allowed.

6.  Glam up - Yes, you are wearing a bikini, but remember, you are still in a crowded place. You can wear full makeup and even stilettos at the event. There will be plenty of selfies and groupies at the party, so you do not want to come out looking haggard. For boys, sneakers are not allowed.

7.  Bring a change of clothes - Better clarify with the event organizers the policy on dress code. If the pool party occurs in a hotel, you may not be able to enter the premises if you are only in a bikini. You can always change into proper swimwear when you are already at the event proper.

The pool parties in Las Vegas have become an event unto themselves. They are an excellent excuse to have fun without inhibitions, staying true to the city's slogan, "What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas." Just remember the tips to make your trip memorable and not something you look back with regret.
