Disturbing photographs of people sleeping outside banking halls covered in cardboard have surfaced online.
It is now common for dimly-lit street pavements to be occupied by people waiting patiently outside a bank at night.
Depositors spend their nights lying on uncomfortable cardboard boxes in the hope that when morning comes, they will be able to withdraw some money amid worsening cash shortages.
