Leon Schuster not dead

Following a death hoax that made rounds on WhatsApp on Tuesday, South African comedian, filmmaker and singer, Leon Schuster has said he is "alive and kicking."

According to Netwerk24 a WhatsApp message claimed that the Mr. Bones actor had "died in a car accident."

However the popular comedian told the publication that 'although a few people might want him dead, like with Trump, he's still very much alive and kicking and healthy.'

The hoax message reads as follows: "Sad news guys. Car accident claims the life of a well-known celebrity. I can't imagine a South Africa without Leon Schuster. He was one of the country's best comedians. We will miss you. R.I.P Leon! Please share this…"
