Elelphant Man proved to Zimbabweans why he is known as the energy god by his performance at the Glamis Arena in Harare last night which lasted well over an hour.
According to Zimbabwe's popular entertainment website Zimbojam, the show was a non-stop action show with E Man climbing up the scaffolding, dancing with the audience.
The 'Energy god' is said to have even swopped shoes with a Zimbabwean fan and dry humped a female member of the audience who had slipped past security and made it onto the stage.
Throughout the set, security personnel struggled to keep people off the stage. As they pushed one person off on one side of the stage two more were trying to clamber up on the other side. Things got a bit violent when they baton-sticked some excited fans trying to get some on-stage action with the Dancehall super star.
At least three times, E Man stopped the music to ask them not to interfere with his fans. "Security! Security! Leave my mother flippin' people alone!" He yelled to thunderous applause from the over 7 000 people who came for the show.
At the same time more and more "VIP guests" and "journalists" were coming onto the stage through the back stage entrance till it was so packed that E Man stopped the show and said; "If you want me to carry on, you need to clear the stage."
At the Elephant Man show after party, held a few kilometres up the road at Stars Studio, there was chaos outside as an unprecedented number of people descended upon the venue.
