Makosi back in the UK

FROM Harare to Johannesburg and even to Lagos, Makosi Today is changing the face of Africa one story at a time.

Vox Africa are pleased to announce that the 12-episode Season 1 of Makosi Today show will debut on the award-winning Pan-African satellite channel Vox Africa on Friday November 7 at 2030 hours with repeats shown on Saturdays at 1400 hours, Mondays at 1830 hours and Wednesdays at 0930 hours.

"Since its premier on ZTV in Zimbabwe, there has been a high demand for the show in the United Kingdom, and its launch on Vox Africa TV is guaranteed to allow the show's continuous growth in popularity," stated an official statement from Vox TV.

In a ground-breaking deal brokered by Zollywood and sealed by its parent company CMG International Media Group, Tony Mliswa of Zollywood has also assured that this is only the beginning of bigger things to come.

"The stalwart partnership forged by Zollywood and CMG Media group has continued to prove itself as the leading media platform for facilitating mega deals for those looking to penetrate the United Kingdom and or Europe market," Louis Charema, of CMG International Media Group, said.

With a combination of serious and light-hearted humor, Makosi and her guests engage the audience and help them to discover new insights and perspectives on life.

Shot on location in Harare, Lagos and South Africa, the show takes one on a journey telling Africa's best stories.

The show has already landed Makosi Zimbabwe Women's Media Professional Of The Year award in 2014.

The show, in its first season, will feature musician and former Big Brother Africa Stargame Zimbabwean representative, Rockford Josphats, aka Roki, Nollywood actor Alex Usifo Omiagbo, legendary former English Premier League Coventry City and Sheffield United striker Zimbabwe Warriors' captain Peter Ndlovu, Tourism minister Walter Mzembi, Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, Afrobeat stars Peter and Paul Okoye, aka P Square and many more.

Its duration will be 24 minutes in the three various locations, courtesy of the crew that includes the executive producer Makosi Musambasi and producer Tsitsi Madoda.

There is also the director Munyaradzi Dodo, director of photography Clemence Wonder Mpepho, Post Production, C Media, Distribution UK, Zollywood Ltd and broadcasters Vox Africa Sky 218, DStv 191 and GOtv 16.
