MAN-of-the-moment, Mothusi Bashimane Ndlovu, popularly known as Madlela Skhobokhobo, will be performing at the Presidential Youth Interface rally in Lupane tomorrow.
Lots of entertainment will be provided by artists drawn mostly from Matabeleland North province at the rally being held at Somhlolo Stadium.
Kokotsha Makokotsha hit-maker Clement Magwaza as well as First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe's favourite all-female Tonga group Chilimba from Mabobolo in Binga, Esau Siwela of Ezinkulu Productions from Tsholotsho, Kethuza Band also from Tsholotsho, Ngoma Buntibe from Lubu in Binga and Chilimba from the same district, are also part of the entertainers.
Buju, Amaqhawe Efolosi and Munya Mazo from Victoria Falls and Pezhuba Pachena – a traditional dance group – as well as 7 Percent and Vulindlela from Hwange will also perform.
A poet Meluleki Sibanda will represent Bubi district while a group of 23 disabled pupils from Fatima School will also sing a song for President Mugabe.
Mbare Chimurenga Choir and the ZNA Army band will sing the national anthem while the National Youth Service Kamativi will do drills.
Elias Sibanda, Zanu-PF Youth League Matabeleland North provincial secretary for information and publicity said the artists were now being vetted.
"We've come up with a selection of artists as we tried to spread across all districts in the province. Most of the artists are still growing and this is their opportunity to market themselves.
"We've submitted their details and vetting is going on," said Sibanda.
People have been urged to arrive at the venue early as entertainment will start at 6AM. Meanwhile, T-Shirts will be given on first come first serve basis.
