Fast-rising new kid on the block and maskandi artist Mlandi Wetshitshi Inyoni Emnyami is set to launch his second album on the 5th of August in Tembisa Enhlanzeni Hostel.
"I am inviting people to come and guide me as I launch my second album," Mlandi Wetshitshi Inyoni Emnyami.
"This album is for them to take me through the right direction. I am happy with it, but I need a second opinion to grow as an artist hence I decided to do an official launch so that music lovers help me develop as artist. I appeal to everyone out there to come out in numbers."
Titled "Abakwethu" the album is composed of 14 tracks namely Abakwethu, Amanxeba, Dlala Tshuma, Ekhaya, Kwangala ukufa, Impi babili bathathu, Ivangeli, KwaBulawayo, Msheli wami, Ndinofara, Pansula, Ukulunga kwami, siyovota and uMlandi.
The album mainly chronicles social life styles and urges unity amongst Zimbabweans.
"I sing about issues happening in life every day," said Mlandi Wetshitshi Inyoni Emnyami whose original name is Antony Tshuma.

"I am much touched when I hear people talk hate while life should be about unity and progressing. Through my music I am hopeful that Zimbabweans will come together and forge a united front towards a better society for all. History has taught me that only unity will see everyone happy and successful in life. That is the major reason I also included a Shona track called "Ndinofara" in my album. I am proving to everyone that we are one and we should unite for a common cause which is progress and happiness as a country."
Mlandi Wetshitshi Inyoni Emnyami further challenged Zimbabweans to register to vote next year.
"I am calling upon all young people to register to vote. That is the only way their concerns and needs will be met. Life is not about discord from a distant but participation. Everyone has a right to associate with their own chosen political party. I am not advocating for any political party, but urging my fellow young people to consider and embracing voting seriously. I dedicate my track "Siyavota" to all people who will take charge and register to vote for our country's 2018 elections," added the Nkayi born singer.
Mlandi Wetshitshi Inyoni Emnyami started singing in 2010 as backing vocalist for the group Omqhelukelwa.
In 2015 he released his debut album titled Mlandi Wetshitshi (1995).
