PROMINENT South African gospel musician Sipho Makhabane is expected to arrive in Zimbabwe tomorrow where he will be the guest performer at the launch of United Kingdom-based Zimbabwean artiste Fulton Rupapa's album.

The launch will be held at Revelation Centre situated at NMB Bank at the corner of Kwame Nkrumah Avenue and First Street in Harare on Saturday.

Makhabane featured on Fulton's 12-track album titled "Breaking Ground" alongside another leading South African singer, Buhle.

The singer famous for his powerful voice collaborated with Fulton on the songs "Vanoda Vanhu Vavo" and "Inzwai" which are part of the album.

This is not the first time that Makhabane has graced an event by a Zimbabwean artiste, having been the guest performer at Elias Musakwa's wedding sometime ago.

Apart from Makhabane, the who-is-who in Zimbabwean music circles are expected to grace the launch of the album that was recorded at DHP Studios in Zimbabwe and University Campus Suffolk Studios in the United Kingdom.

Fulton also involved a stellar line-up of artistes on the album among them Josh Meck, Thobekile Nhleya, Jairos Hambahamba, Sophie Madzivanyika Mujokoro and Frank Mavhimira among others.

It is clear that a lot of work went into the production considering that it took Fulton and his group six years to come up with the album.

"It has been a long time coming, but finally we say Ebenezer, we have made it. Starting from 2006 when work on this album began, there were challenges along the way, but surely joy comes in the morning," Fulton said.

He said he aims to transform people's souls through his music.

"This album goes out to all those people who have and are facing challenges in life.

"It might look like there is no light at the end of the tunnel, but don't lose hope. I have been through some tough times in life, moreover living in a foreign land, but I never lost hope," said Fulton.

Some of the tracks on the album include "Makanaka", "Lover of My Life", "We Give Thanks", Africa", "My Whole Life", "My Joy" and "Been There".
