Sungura lovers have accepted the "king of Sungura" Alick Macheso's latest album "Kupa kuturika"
Macheso who is on a nationwide tour marketing his new offering is packing venues to capacity.
Yesterday all age groups flocked at Jongwe corner where he had a family show supported by Jean Master.
This weekend he toured Mashonaland East in Murehwa, Mashonaland West in Chegutu and Harare provinces.
Orchestra Mberikwazvo's publicist Tich Makamadze said the album is being accepted in every area they are going.
"We are grateful because the album is being accepted in all areas we are touring and all age groups are coming to our shows," Makamadze said.
The album comprises "Kuverengera", "Undiregererewo", "Zvichada Hama", "Murangarire", "Kunditaya" and "Hunhu Hwakashata".
Macheso's chanter Jonas "Sir Joe and backing vocalist Barnabas "the boss" Mandipota are outstanding on all live shows so far.
Mbare hustler Felix "boss Fidza splashed US dollars on stage at the family show yesterday and requested Tafi Nyamunda to play solo guitar before giving him $100 after giving same amount to Macheso.
