Mtukudzi named in star-studded procession for SA Concert

Zimbabwe music superstar Oliver Mtukudzi has been named in a star-studded procession of African music royalty at the annual Tribute Concert, taking place at Moretele Park on Saturday, 29 August 2015, Mamelodi in Tshwane, South Africa.

The Moretele Park Tribute Concert is an annual festival which will be held at Moretele Park in Mamelodi in Pretoria, South Africa. The concert will take place on the 29 August 2015.

The City of Tshwane once again plays proud host to this ever-popular concert, now in its 18th year, which is renowned as one of the premier events on the country's music calendar.

According to information online, the key objectives of the Concert, remain to honour and pay tribute to South Africa's musical icons and other people who have made a major contribution to the arts, and to offer a strong platform for the development of local talent growing from strength to strength year after year, the event has attained iconic status as the biggest and most popular one-day, open air, music presentation in South Africa.

The star-studded line-up will featuring numerous superstars in one bill such as Caiphus Semenya, Oliver Mtukudzi, Bhudaza, Nuthi, Vusi Nova, Kanda Bongo, Mango Groove, Vusi Mahlasela, Thandiswa Mazwai, The Soil, Black Motion, Afrotraction and Tshwane Bands.
