Trailblazing Bulawayo's all-female ensemble, Nobuntu, has released their second album, Ekhaya, which they will soon take to Canada on a North American tour.
The 14-track album has a single, Narini, which has been on the Top 10 Zimbabwean Music videos programme on DSTV's Zambezi Magic channel.
Ekhaya is now available on iTunes and online stores and will be in the country's stores at the end of the month.
In February the group went on a video shoot for their song Inganekwane (folktales) at Amagugu in Matobo.
After successfully launching their first album, Thina, the group courted the interest of Australian record label 10th District.
"We will soon be going to North America and we will offer our second album Ekhaya. Tracks on the second album include Narini, Ngonyama, Hapana, Inganekwane, Uthixo, Inkomo Zomlandu, Linso Lyamoyo, Musha Wangu, Woza Ngane, Uthando, Nyawo Lwani, Misodzi, Inkonkoni and Mlobokazi," said the group in a press statement.
